Over the past several months, I’ve begun my own cleansing journey. If I’m being honest, even as a Functional Nutritional Therapist and Registered Dietitian with years of working one-on-one with clients having all types of medical issues, I have always been a little intimidated by intentional detoxification and cleansing. There seem to be so many crazy detox programs out there and rarely have I seen ones that check off all the boxes needed to create a purposeful and effective cleansing program. In this post, I’ll share why I’m recommending an intentional cleanse, what to look out for when choosing a cleanse program, the cleanse I’m using personally and with clients and tips + tricks for success!
